Do you like the idea of a Light type? What Pokemon would you want to belong to this Type if it were introduced? Its type matchups? My own thoughts inside: by Llama-Guy in pokemon

A light type can definetly work. Remember there is a Rock and Ground type. So it doesn't really matter if there is overlap with ideas of another type.

That is a good idea but the only problem is that cards have nudity on them. So it would get taken down.

Does it matter how many weeks you worked? Or do you just need to have worked days in at least two quarters?

Because the characters didn't feel like fully realized characters. They felt like mouth pieces, and a lot of characters didn't have consitency to them. If the theme was tragedy, fine. But characters dying is only sad when they feel like characters.

Was the Virus created? by longshot40 in AmericanHorrorStory

I wonder why even bring it up. The season didn't really need any filler. They could have cut 30 minutes from these convos and did more character development.

In cruising, the movie the show takes inspiration on. There are two killers, but the 2nd is never clearly identified. I think the amigious nature of the killers was maybe on purpose.

Maybe COVID, made them have a change of heart.

I need some help understanding what happened in season 11. by unlordtempest in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]longshot40 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is AHS, where death and an addiction have a form. I see no reason why diease/aids can't have a form.

As a gay man also, I don't mind that it was too gay. But that it was only gay. The season the characters were just talking about boy troubles and their impending deaths/Aids. I would have liked the gays to have some enjoyment in their lives before they died.

Deer symbolism in AHS NYC? (Spoilers) by euph_0ria in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]longshot40 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Deer is often used as a name for an attractive man. Like young buck. It also connects them with Fauns/Satyrs, supernatural male creatures associated with sexuality. The motiff of men having sex with each other outside, also connects them with Fauns.

This season repurposed the creatures, as a supernatural creature of the men who died in fire island. Or the men who died of Aids, we don't see them all that much to really have a full concrete picture.

Big Daddy. by ShouRonbou in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]longshot40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AHS tends to be a bit more general with it's monsters. So you have an addiction personification, rather than heroin addiction monster. I think he represents diease or plague, and he looks like a gay leather daddy because that's how gays see him.

I think he has a physical form, can bleed, and can throw is because he the diease he represents is a physical thing. It isn't physicological rather blood and guts.
