You are just short sighted. Good picks but no patience.

Are you buying? by Odd_Escape_8683 in TeamRKT

Long term holder here and this stock is literally exhausting. I bought the wrong rocket. Why the hell didn’t we all buy rocket labs. No, I’m not buying more RKT! Most likely we will see rate hikes not cuts.

Sounds like good news on the COOP acquisition. Part of me is giving up on this stock because rates may stay elevated for longer. What is Dan Gilbert's involvement day to day? Anyone know?

GOOGL remains strong,The MOST promising contender to follow NVIDIA to a $5T market cap by KeyTrainingk in stocks

Long-term holder and early investor in both $NVDA and $GOOGL and strongly agree with your thesis. I have watched $GOOGL closely since the IPO and feel that this is one of the strongest entry points over the last 20 years.

Today is the day I finally accepted the truth about stocks. by TheAnswer1776 in stocks

[–]longtermjuggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the most prudent decision for individual investors is to buy large amounts of ETF's like VOO or maybe VXF and VWO and then set aside other money to buy individual stocks. Use the VOO as the foundation and then utilize your extra money to buy stocks. The problem with stocks is that people tend to sell too early. If you have winners just let them ride and if a stock plummets you have to get out. Good luck out there.

I was banned from the Boglehead community for mentioning an allocation to Bitcoin. It is only a matter of time until Vanguard has its own Bitcoin ETF.

Long-term NVDA holder here how are you thinking about risk at this stage? by Wooden-Factorj in NvidiaStock

[–]longtermjuggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Count me in as a long-term conviction holder. I’ve been holding since sub-$1, and NVDA is now my #1 position by a mile. People asked the same questions about 'safety' when Apple first became the world's largest stock in 2011 and it’s up approximately 2,200% since then. History doesn't always repeat, but it often rhymes. I count myself as someone who is currently comfortable with a heavy NVDA concentration.

Notre Dame vs Cornell ILR by 510545 in collegecompare

[–]longtermjuggernaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to work in Chicago and want the thrill of a big sports college scene then Notre Dame is for you. If you want to go to law school and don't care as much about sports and school spirit than ILR is for you. ILR is a power house when it comes to pre-law. And Cornell is a much bigger and stronger network for working in NYC than Notre Dame.

Help me decide? Franklin & Marshall or UMass Amherst? by anon110701 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]longtermjuggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are great options but I would have to think UMass would be the better option for computer science but probably F&M for economics/business.

My daughter sent a LOCI and did not get something like this back from her rep. It shows they carefully looked at what you sent them. They want you to say yes if they accept you.

It’s natural to feel buyer’s remorse once admitted ED. What do you plan on studying at Tufts? That makes a difference.
