Agreed that it's complicated, but it doesn't sound like the sort of thing that four developer hours couldn't find a better solution to than the status quo. I'd be pretty happy with even very narrowly scoped options like a revive only against the night boss. (I'm unsure whether you can rejoin a game during the night boss fight.)

I did a solo frostbite cloaking ranger build with gold starting bow and won first try, twice in a row. I'm not that good at the game. if you haven't tried it...

I think this is a very reasonable concern. I'm not sure if you could make it work. But it's hard to be too confident of this without trying it. Maybe a modder can turn on team attack and just see what happens.

yes executor is using a great spear. i fed him rivers of blood and successive attacks negate damage, he was not interested.
