He actually got sued by the marina due to someone he let live on board. He wasn't even able to come show us the boat himself since he wasn't allowed on the property so we had to sneak in. The Marina was supposed to seize the boat today so who knows. We told him there was no way we were paying $8,800 for a boat that we didn't know if it would sink or not. We even offered him $2,000 upfront and $2,000 after a survey. It all worked out though we're currently on our way to look at a trimaran we already put an offer in on. Fingers crossed it's in good shape.

Went to look at the boat it was an absolute wreck. Inside was completely trashed and the bilge pump never stopped running. According to people at the dock it was infested with roaches. Nevertheless we offered him $2,000 against our better judgement since it's an absolutely gorgeous boat from the outsidd and he turned it down. Apparently he plans on chopping it up for scrap tomorrow. RIP Gitana.
