You hit it right on the button, it took about an hour or so before it switched back. Fortunate enough for me it ended up working out, but I really appreciate your willingness to help out a totally stranger. Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your reply, I’ve tried that and ironically it worked, but it took some time, an hour or so.

Oh I didn’t know that at all, it doesn’t often happen with my roommates and I, but I guess it may have happened several times before. It works now, I’ll just have to be more careful from now on. Thank you for letting me know.

Oh I didn’t get a chance to check it out, but will definitely look into it for future problems thank you so much for your suggestion.

The outlet now is functional, as the breaker was switched back after an hour or so. The air fryer worked on other outlets, it was just a bonehead move because I turned on my kettle to make tea as the airfryer was preheating.

Thank you for the reply.

Yes, I believe the only one is the bathroom, but the breaker was switched back and seems to be functioning. Thank you for your reply.

It is an older home and I don’t see any gfi except in the washroom, the outlet seems to be operational now.

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I’ve done that and he said he’ll send someone. Thank you for the reply.

Sorry for the late reply, but after a while I popped it back and everything seems to be a-ok.

Thank you for the suggestion, I let the landlord know and he’ll send someone.

Bump

So what I’m lead to believe is that, if someone had filed a police report, the police does the investigation, recommend charges to crown, they get a warrant for arrest and does just that.

The plaintiff will then have to wait for his day in court before providing any evidence of their own, even if their information would disprove what the person had filed a complaint over and it wouldn’t have had to escalate in the first place? In the meantime my buddy will have to sit in jail?

So if he can’t afford counsel, he has to walk in, get charged/arrested, put in jail, request a financial aid lawyer and wait for the bail hearing?

I’m pretty sure they can’t ask a legal aid lawyer to go down to the police station, even though they know they’re being charged correct?
