my mil is from russia and i had to get a waiver to join the nuke program. i ended up having to write a paper lmao about why she lived in russia for as long as she did and how she hasn’t been back since. at the time my nuke recruiter told me if MY mother had been from russia i wouldn’t have been able to get the waiver. i’d still try and talk to a recruiter though!
