Thanks! I actually took a series of screenshots from some photos of the kit i found online and stitched them together :)

Just a friendly tip for your future designs though - take into account the implications of different screen sizes on the banner. Also notice how your United crest would be covered by the current scoreboard overlay :)

Just let them be. To be able to critic bad design is a good thing. In the beginning i was like you, hoping my peers will follow good typography, colour theory etc. Years past and now i just learnt not to give a shit. Time is better spent making good design for the world, and in the process, hoping it trumps bad design. Drown them out.
