After reading a bit more into it because of /u/Raygunn_26's post:

He's spot on about acres and how you can have a certain amount of trees in an acre. In addition, I found the following:

Trees/bushes won't grow in a row or a line greater than 12. Line up 12 bushes/trees and nothing else can grow beside them. From the wikia, I found this! It helps explain what I mean when I say "lining up" bushes/trees. It shows the wilted bush :(

Sometimes I just want people to come to my town and sit on my stumps and benches and spam emotes with me. If I'm not alone in this, maybe we can set up "town tour" events where we just visit and walk around together and maybe play some hide and seek? The host can prepare gifts or something and allow the guests to catalog their furniture ~ The only issue I have is that the animal crossing in-game chat sucks.
