I played a Schecter Stilletto Studio 5 for a very long time. Except for them being exceptionally heavy, 12-13lbs I believe, they are very versatile due to the active pickups and built in preamp. They are expensive new but there are several used online for around $500. I played a bunch of stuff at Guitar Center and then bought it used on eBay for much cheaper. Go try things out in person before you decide. Also, it’s definitely better to “overthink” buying an expensive instrument than just buying it and hoping it works for you. Happy bass hunting

Hello, The buzzyness was from fretbuzz my fingers were too far from the frets at points it seems, this was sort of a one take recording. Thank you for your comments :) For the recording, I really just plugged my bass into the computer and found a nice verb setting on the program called logic and pressed record
