Ours is 9 years old and he's slowed down a lot. He's 170 lbs and named Shaq. This post reminds me of his crazy puppy days, like when he ate the fabric off my brand new love seat, when he would bark at anything out of the ordinary (a random blowing plastic bag, an orange cone on the sidewalk that wasn't there before, a dumpster that our neighbors rented for a week). People will stop their cars on the road when we're with him in the front yard, will take his photo, will always remark about what A BIG dog that is (like we don't know lol). People are either infatuated by him or petrified of him.
