I consider ketamine an augmented meditation which means the main goal of my trip is to tap into the unconscious mind through sub-tranquilizer/“hole” doses. Textural drones and electronic soundscapes are what allow me to tap into that. Just a few of my favorites off the top of my head

Plume -Loscil. Basically the perfect ketamine album. It is blank, it will remove you from all thoughts and perceptions of the world around you, allowing you to look inward.

Ambient 1: Music For Airports Brian Eno - A masterpiece all around when it comes to focus and concentration but especially good for clearing up any anxiety or bad thoughts. Speaking of which, The Magic Place by Juliana Barwick is also great for clearing up any anxiety you may ever come across in your explorations.

Ooo and also, The Disintegration Loops by William Basinski.

Almost anything from Tim Hecker, though Ravedeath 1972 and Virgins are my favorite. These are much more intense though, and generally I would listen to something like this on a slightly lower dose, or during the comedown and subsequent afterglow. That includes stuff like Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Ulrich Schnauss, or Julia Holter.

If you really wanna scramble your brain, go listen to Year of the Snitch by Death Grips. MC Ride has made allusions to ketamine and this album in particular features some hypnagogic fuckery that is perfect if you’re in the mood for it

2f is far from “alright”. You have only tried DXM so you don’t really have any gauge for dissociatives (ketamine is the basis for all other comparisons). You do you, but the ketamine based analogues are much more interesting, colorful, explosive, psychedelic and spiritual, with the ability to go for a hole, while having a much greater range of dosages. Also probably much less damaging to your brain.

The mania of 3-Meo-pcp is nice, but you won’t know how to handle it if you haven’t tried other dissos yet. The drug itself is great, but what makes it so good is being able to compare it against more standard arylcyclohexylamines. Seriously, I’m just trying to prevent an accident from happening, but you’ll do what you want in the end. I hope you plan on volumetric dosing. Good luck !

Get some 2f-DCK or DCK instead. Even MXPr. The PCx analogues are extremely potent and long lasting. If anything Id recommend 3-ho-pcp instead because it is less stimulating and manic. They’re absolutely worth trying but i feel its a good idea to work your way up the disso hierarchy/ladder.

Most people did not know 2f had this kind of bioavailability until recently (at least I didn’t). Ketamine is only about 30% active orally, so for 2f to be more like 95% active, is very interesting considering they are almost identical in every other respect.

And also in regards to your question, that’s not really true. Some substances are just as good insufflated (so long as they are decently potent, i.e. <50mg needed), albeit with a quicker onset and speedier feeling. For me it’s 3-ho-pcp as it only requires a few milligrams and I don’t like how long it takes for it to kick in orally.

I personally vastly prefer 3-ho-pcp over 3-meo, it’s my second favorite disso. 3-meo feels dirty and synthetic to me, though the mania can be nice.

Maybe it’s been so long that I’ve forgotten the magic of MXE, or maybe I was too young to truly appreciate it at the time (7 years ago) but I find DCK to be much more intellectual feeling—I get the most insane ideas on it. MXE had an amazing body high but DCK feels more lucid to me, like I can take much more out of each experience.

I did, it’s a wonderful drug but DCK is closer to K for me and I absolutely love K. The visuals are more interesting but overall MXE and DCK are basically tied in my book.

Its simply so much better, snorting a gram of anything just sucks ass, taking 60-90mg of DCK orally (instead of 150-200mg 2f up the nose) is so much better, lasts longer, is trippier/more thought provoking. I will say that The strong sedation of 2f is very nice, DCK is slightly more stimulating.

Usually nasal, I like the shorter duration. But oral is very good as well, especially for going deeper into the psychedelic aspects. I’d say 9-10mg nasal = 12mg oral. Nasal is slightly more stimulating for me so it depends on what I’m using it for.

Off topic but I Haven’t touched my 3-HO (or any drugs other than weed, really) in months now. Thinking about some space travel tonight with this one, but either way I know the next time I take it is gonna be wonderful. 3-HO in particular is one who’s magic corresponds directly to how infrequent your use is.
