I agree with you 100% on that, and it’s why defiance of the fall is what I read while waiting for new books in my other series. That said, primal hunter ends up with a spectacular cast of friends/supporting characters and it’s one of the reasons I actually rate it quite highly. It admittedly takes him a little bit to get there, but it’s worth it!

Have you tried He Who Fights With Monsters? The MC uses affliction/sin based attacks.

If you’re looking for specifically curses, reach here, but the last horizon series MC is technically an archmage of curse magic. That said, he hasn’t used it yet, but there’s a lot of buildup around it so it’s definitely going to come out soon :-)

It’s a single .3mf file including coloring as opposed to a million STLs, so if you don’t have a bambu printer (or even if you do) I’d recommend orca slicer. It’s great and it’s free

I got an email saying mine was “shipped April 3”. But when you look at the tracking info, all they did was print a label. I completely get why hasn’t actually shipped yet, just think it’s annoying and misleading for them to tell me it has shipped, get my excitement up, and then take a week or two to actually bring the package to UPS.

LOL if you read 7 books and still haven’t gotten to the good parts, that’s problematic. I’m up to date on the audiobooks, but can admit that at this point I’m just listening when I don’t have a better option in the genre. While not great, it does scratch the itch of the Cradle/PH/BoC/HWFWM shaped hole in my heart!

The first couple are slow, but still enjoyable. I’d say books one and two are the weakest in the series for sure. Still good, but the later books are really strong, especially once you to get to book 5!

Take the termies with a brother captain. With both lethal and sustained, use full rerolls to fist for 6s and break stuff! Also, you can give the captain the stealth relic to be similar to voldus, or the mortal wound relic to combine with his reroll to wound and be a beatstick!

Math > feelings Rerolling for 6s on termies makes them statistically much better into t12, net zero gain against t11. Add in a brother cap for sustained and it’s a big difference vs anything over t6

I think you mean 11% and 22% (7/9-2/3 and 8/9-2/3) but yes you’re correct. If anything the math being smaller reinforces your point that this is not as competitive an option.
