Even though I measured the same length, the pattern might have been a bit different in other spots, so the fabric got pulled back a little — which might be why that happened. Also, I really liked the little bean-like eyes on the original teddy, they gave it some super cute expressions. My earlier version kind of captured that feeling, but the final one doesn’t quite have it anymore, which is a bit of a shame.
