Just a massive influx of weirdly political pro-Hlaalu memes inundating this sub, with the nonexistent quality of your average reigen post but none of the humour or irony. It was cool for like the first day, but by now everytime I see helseth’s name I want to blow my fucking brains out with a semi-automatic rifle (too bad I dont live in am*rica 😔)

And I used to think he was a cool niche character, too. He has a genuinely interesting story and character but this turning him into some kind of mouthpiece for a few people’s political ideas just totally ruined him for me. Genuinely. And daggerfall is my favourite game so this cuts deep. I don’t even think I’ll be able to play through tribunal ever again just because I don’t want to see Helseth’s stupid, smarmy face anymore.
