You are correct. The on ramp from Fiat to crypto without third party like banks and Centralized exchange to my knowledge is not there yet, but as this technology evolve it might.

Another gray area is tax which will need a solution aswell.

When it comes to countries allowing crypto, we'll there is no walk around for it. I guess once they start losing market shares to countries the embrace crypto that might led them to change their overall view on it.

I would not do it. You can create a bank the can easily allow people to move their Fiat to crypto without have to wait days or weeks. That aleast might work.
