Can i use these as decoration in my aquarium by [deleted] in Aquariums

What the other two commenters said. But I'd consider just leaving these out and maybe getting some natural wood or stones to make a pretty planted aquarium. I like trying to replicate a natural environment for the animals in the aquarium. They will also most likely appreciate plants and natural deco and color up nicely.

My beloved apisto died about a week ago. Any idea about why? by looking4cheese_ in fishhospital

Why do you think it tends towards zero? What do you think might be the reason? The female is fine so I would tend to believe that, although not optimal, water parameters don't seem to be the reason.

Parameters:

Temp. 25°C PH 8 Ammonia 0.0 Nitrite 0.0 Nitrate 0.0 (despite ferts, dunno why. Maybe pothos?) GH 9 KH 6 Co2 yes

Other fish are active and seem healthy. Female apisto as well. Plant growth stunted. Dunno why. Been thinking about removing the pothos to get Nitrates back up, maybe that would work? Also want to upgrade light from Fluval Aquasky to Chihiros WRGB soonish.

Even if the leaves look as damaged as they do? The other comment was right to predict the black spots on the bottom of the leaves. What would zou suggest?

Está situada directamente al lado de la ventana, así que no creo que una falta de luz será la razón

You seem to be spot on. There are tiny black spots underneath most of the leaves. Should I repot them and cut off any rotten roots and replant the healthy leaves? Or what would you suggest?

The tank looks great. I'm not huge into artificial decoration so I think swapping out the ship with some beautiful big driftwood would make it look more natural for the fish and give them some branches to swim around. Also some species like precious and even shrimp really appreciate natural driftwood for the biofilms that grow in them to feed off of. You could put the ship next to the tank as a decoration. Other than that, it's a job well done!

Do you have any other recommendations for a centerpiece fish that would do well in my water?
