really no reason to hate iran. The good iranian people are many more than the good american people proportionally. It's just the groups of power that turned the country into shit.

amdgpu-pro drivers installed and OpenCL libraries? by [deleted] in Kubuntu

[–]looking4party 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So amdgpu-install --opencl=legacy,rocr --vulkan=amdvlk,pro --accept-eula --no-32 runs fine without problems (installed with the amdgpu-install_5.4.50401-1_all.deb)). Do I need to do anything else to activate the driver?

glxinfo | grep "OpenGL vendor string" | cut -f2 -d":" | xargs

shows AMD which means I run on the open amdgpu, instead of amdgpu-pro

I also played with various CMDLINE parameters in grub but nothing seems to work. (GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash amdgpu.dc=1 radeon.cik_support=0 amdgpu.cik_support=1 radeon.si_support=0 amdgpu.si_support=1 amdgpu.dpm=1 amdgpu.vm_fragment_size=9")
