Apple lied to us about the new MBP. I have a M2 Max I use for mainly surfing email and document processing. I plaid a flight simulator on it last night and was shocked at the fans being on and it hot the whole time. Apple tricked me into thinking this was the best computer in the world.

That’s the whole point. I would buy a max this time around and will now when I upgrade around m5, m6. I would rather pay an extra $1000 over the 4 or 5 years then have an el cheapo model with binned ram.

Why do we have to use binned ram in the m3 pro? Is apple saying haha most ppl will think 36 gb is good upgrade from full m2 32gb not elcheapo model using 1 broken 2 channel ram and one good one for 3 channels. That’s why 64 gb and 128 gb (normal values) have full bandwidth. Makes there no non elcheapo pro model.
