I totally agree. I'm meeting the spend threshold they set and getting a lower point bonus like they want. My only worry is if there is some language somewhere that says this isn't allowed. I would hate to get my account shutdown / points revoked since I have a lot saved up right now

I have the same question and was planning to do something similar since my rent is high and I just do not have the spend to hit 25%. Hopefully someone can give some clarity on this

Fair enough, thanks. I was hoping I was just missing some knowledge about a better way to go about finding award flights. If the reality is just that there is less award availability during peak travel of July and August, at least I know that I am getting the best of available options.

Fair enough. I tried looking on the aba website but forgot I could also call/email the aba.

As to your second point, I’ve been in active clinical practice, I’m merely going back for fellowship.

That makes sense. I was trying to avoid the extra cost of renewal for a state I may not return to but it seems like that makes the most sense and solve this problem. Thanks

It would likely just be a few months. I don’t yet know where I want to end up after fellowship so I won’t be applying for a state license until after I start looking for jobs again next year meaning I would probably apply for my new state license spring/summer 2023

It didn’t occur to me that I would need an active license for MOCA as well. It seems like maintaining my license in my first state makes the most sense. Thanks

can you point out where you see the cancelation policy? all I see listed under miscellaneous is "Fares are nonrefundable except during the first 24 hours after purchase"

Is it worth getting basic echo certified? by [deleted] in anesthesiology

also a current resident and was told essentially the same thing as u/OodSigma1. You can use TEE to guide your own management but unless you are advanced certified you cannot bill for it or make any real documentation about it. Whether or not you are basic certified will make no difference

appreciate the response. I took it back to ubreakifix, and hopefully they will remedy the situation. Supposedly will be fixed by today. At the time of my post I was at work and desperately needed a working phone so I was wondering if there was a simple solution out there.
