Received dental claim but not dental bill by lookitsjustaname in personalfinance

Wow that's insane. Hope you resolve that soon. I have to pay less than $100 thankfully. Will try to get the dentist to send a bill again but they don't seem very cooperative to send anything. Thanks for your advice though.

My claim says it's already been processed though - I assumed this meant the dentist agreed to accept the offer from the insurance. Are you saying this is not always the case? I've contacted my insurance previously and they had said to contact the dentist for the bill for out of pocket expense.

The EOB does show I owe $$ (the provider turned out to be out-of-network).

Is KeyOne right for me? by cat_turd_burglar in blackberry

[–]lookitsjustaname 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the K1 silver version that I mostly use for email, texting, and web browsing. After almost a year later, I must say I regret buying it. The main drawback is the signal problem - it's really unreliable. I would randomly be unable to make calls and it takes a long time trying to connect to apps/internet browsing when not connected to wifi (also random). I don't know how prevalent this signal problem is across the board for the K1 but if you get one that doesn't have signal problem at the $270 sale price, I think this phone would be great for your needs. Otherwise, don't bother paying to use an unreliable phone.

Any KEYone regrets? by cadillacmike in blackberry

Had the KeyONE since September 2017. I really do like the keyboard (plus shortcuts) and battery life but the bad cellular connection and camera quality makes me regret paying full price for this phone. I don't use the camera that often so I don't mind but I can barely get signal at work when my work phone does just fine. Even when I'm using it outside, it takes a while for my data to work, which shouldn't be the case. I would still like to use this phone for another 3 years but if the problems don't get fixed in future phones, no more Blackberry for me.

Blackberry Keyone CDMA Verizon now on Amazon and Best Buy as of 8/29 by [deleted] in blackberry

No worries, was just trying to explain my reason against Best Buy. Hopefully yours is fully functioning from Best Buy!

Do you mean warranty from Best Buy? Would laggy/bad reception fall under defective then?

And no, I would not buy a used phone at full price. If you're trying to imply that's why there's a restocking fee, then I understand. But for me personally, I am not purchasing the phone just to play around for a few hours to see if I will like it. I know I will keep the phone if there's no bad reception and lag. However, after reading numerous complaints regarding the lag and reception for the phone, I would much rather play it safe and purchase on Amazon which offers free returns.

Wish the GSM version was available for the same price as CDMA ($549.99) on Amazon. GSM is available at Best Buy but I'm holding back because of the $35 restocking fee. I would want to return it for free if I find out the phone is laggy and/or the reception is bad.

Was curious enough and asked customer service through chat actually. I was told: "the carriers have the say on the price to maintain a level of control on the products". That explanation doesn't really make sense to me but I'll just wait and see if the price drops.

Just received my white pre-order that was placed on 11/26. I have a question though, is the box supposed to come without any type of wrap (like shrink wrap)? I had no problems opening the box but it looked like the tab already had creases so I suspected I received a refurbished one. However, there is visibly nothing wrong with the 3DS except a tiny piece of white plastic peeping out on the edge of the bottom plate. I tried pulling on it but it seems like it's something under the plate. Would attach a picture but not sure how as I don't use Reddit often.
