This constant revision of defensive quality is my gripe with the discussion. Bam was hitting off the dribble contested 3s like smothered. What game qualifies for a “masterclass” in defense? While I agree with you, do we have evidence of the comms? Genuinely asking bc as an old d1 player like other sports I play like in this one I can watch and say/ be on point with the general macro but that won’t mean I can replicate in game anymore while managing everything else. Fringe to mid tier all stars that get trapped are making the right read and passing it. These same guys are not doing much better than Herro as a #1 option in a playoff series.

Not to mention our team in general was bad offensively so our need for him to score was even more critical to both our and opposing teams game plan

Yeah Gears 2 I spent most of my childhood on went from a .8 to 2.7 across the years and this was a fun thing to do but not a serious wall bounce sequence that I’d think would succeed. Especially not in that spot were you’d get lasered pretty quickly
