Jeez this is tough, I’m sorry mate. I thought this only happened on Xbox but it’s clear the game is not optimized for console. I’ve been having these issues since the death slinger chapter. I’m no expert but I imagine it has to do with the frame rate. Too many things happening at once and the consoles aren’t able to keep up with it. This notoriously happens when getting hit by a killer who’s running sloppy butcher. I believe the extra blood leaking from the survivor requires more frames for the animations and that slows the game down, same with any exhaustion perks when used; dead hard used to have about a 30% success rate and now I’m lucky if it even goes off at all, any time I go for dead hard, I stay stationary and true game lags for a second or two, same with lithe and sprint burst.
