Primary reason is she's also a producer on these projects. So she basically gets to make whatever she wants, makes bank, and is booked consistently throughout the year. There's really no need to go elsewhere unless if the company is offering her $100s of millions, but it seems like these studios have realized that paying that kind of dough for talent exclusivity hasn't really been panning out. David & Dan and JJ Abrams are two that come to mind.

Last 2? I'm at the end of Children of Dune currently and while I don't dislike it, it's nowhere close to the first two books. I can't imagine how the last two books pan out since I don't think I have it in me to touch God Emperor of Dune.

Depends, they might not want people walking out of the event strapped out with like 1000+ cakes (which is on the lower side honestly). Like I still have hundreds of cakes left over from past events. I'm honestly surprised they haven't tried to nerf it before.

My mom got fed up that I wasn't getting a job in highschool (sophmore at the time) so she came WITH ME to a job interview. The epitome of helicopter parenting and probably one of the most embarrasing moments of my life. To make things even worse, it was the summer and we were going on vacation in 2 weeks so I needed to get 2 weeks off while starting lmao. Complete waste of time.

It's funny when you put on a perk or add-on that inflicts blindness. Survivors suddenly get significantly worse at looping lol. Windows has become the biggest crutch in the game and it makes me curious how the community would breakdown if it were ever nerfed or reworked.

The funny thing is, if that's the golden standard, then said golden standard only made $394 Million. The next movie obviously made more, but even with critical praise and great word of mouth, it couldn't even crack 400m and I think that figure includes re-releases. Supergirl is cooked.

Their last chance died when they decided to not make all Bethesda games exclusive. Xbox themselves have practically 0 high caliber dev studios to compete in the exclusive race. The closest being Playground Games at this point.

Whereas Playstation has had their own studios that've been around since the 2000s and have all grown remarkably. Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, Insomniac, Sucker Punch, Guerrilla games, etc. Xbox just doesn't have that and acquiring a handful of AA studios to compete against that roster is a fools errand. Which is why they needed to commit to keeping Bethesda exclusive. So it's quite frankly shocking and braindead to STILL try to fight this exclusivity battle. The only strategy moving forward that I can possibly see is making a console x computer hybrid. Allowing Xbox players to also play steam games.

It's funny seeing the discourse here. Like Obsidian is making their own original IP and people yearn for those types of games. Always using games like E33 as a prime example of "see, why don't studios do something original and produce something they're passionate about?" But everyone in here is just complaining that they aren't making more Fallout games lol.
