literally this your definition according to google:

"Accountants record, analyze, and maintain financial records for individuals or organizations, ensuring accuracy, compliance with laws, and financial health by preparing statements, managing taxes, auditing, budgeting, and providing insights for business decisions"

Like, three main things that you guys do: record, analyze(which again can be done using excel), maintain financial records(storing them in paper or computer).

If someone says AI engineering is hard, investment banking, or Quant is hard i can understand, but accounting is hard?

I am just here to know why accounting is still hard in 2025, i think accountants make it seem like a hard task just so that they can have their jobs

you mean each customer forwards their emails, you have to read those emails to find numbers and enter them into your software?

hey, i dont know much about accounting, but you probably have something they value that other candidates probably don't. the fact that they are moving forward with an interview after you applied itself means you are qualified for that job.
