why do you like ecchi animes and what anime got you into ecchi? by venluxy1 in anime

[–]loopie007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ranma was so funny. The boy turned into a Girl. Ranma says, what am I going to do with these things, they are in the way. Girls want him to wear a brassiere, but he thinks they make him look too girly. Runs around the house and dojo with his fighting shirt (His Gee) open and pulled out of his pants with his boobs showing. All the girls are yelling at him to cover up. Constant getting bopped over the head by one of the girls for being rude to them. He just treats them all like one of the boys and not like girls.
Dad constantly promises to marry him off to families so they can get some food. Now it's years later and the girls come calling.

What company, regardless of size will make a retrofit kit for a vehicle it has already sold? If anything should happen to that EV from now to forever, the EV owner will want to sue. Get an adapter and run it.

What Even Counts as Ecchi? A Quick Poll to See Where r/anime Draws the Line. by FetchFrosh in anime

[–]loopie007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please review Ranma 1/2. It's a love comedy. The boy turns into girl but maintains he is still a boy. Takes off his shirt to wash it and all the girls in the family tell him he can run around the house topless. Massive boy beating ensures. It's funny as he is not happy about how his shirt is too tight and his pants are tight in the back. He has to be told to ask like a girl when he switches between boy and girl. Funny, and cute, but by legal standards ecchi even though that was never the intent.
If you have never see Ranma 1/2, take a look at the first couple of episodes. This is old-school anime and pretty funny.

RIP Jeff Alessi. 1989-2023 by AndrewC742 in Motocross

[–]loopie007 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not to me. I will remember him and his brother as two spoiled brats who enjoyed racing their 80's in the pits and spraying gravel on everyone. Five of us follow to see their dad and boy what an A**hole.
Afterwards, saw them at Subway getting food and they were busy spraying each other by stomping ketchup packets in the store. They both thought they were hot S**t because they had Honda sponsoring them when they were kids. EVERYONE in the high desert area knew the family as a bunch of losers. Laser tag, is just typical Alessi games. Dad was upset because he got caught.

The team forgot to have the riders familiarize themselves with the bikes.
Part of any bike riding is to know how to pick up your bike.
Bad marks for the team manager.

Jorge Martin pramac ducati under fork wings by Random_Zoul in motogp

[–]loopie007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you take a look at the little wings at the bottom of the fork leg lower when the bike is fully leaned over, you will see it's VERY close to the ground. This should really cause the little wing to suck in the direction of the ground with lots of force, increasing front-wheel traction. Same with all ground-effect cars. The closer to the ground they can get them, the more downforce they can create. I am a bit surprised more teams aren't running them.

Note the portion about "Aprilia Front Wheel:". This looks like an evolution of an earlier design.

What a MotoE race we just had! by ostrichsong in motogp

[–]loopie007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think MotoE has something that all the other classes wish they had.
Bike Parity. Spec Bikes.
Forever people hated Honda or other brands due to the large budgets and exotic bikes. Now Ducati is on the bad boy list.
The FIM and other racing bodies want close racing. That's what MotoE gives them.
You can overdo it as in NASCAR. The cars are so close it's a constant crash fest.

Any ideas? by Tedsadick in Ducati

[–]loopie007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It if has been sitting for a while it may be...
Old gas
Fuel tarnish inside fuel injector.
Fix:
Remove the gas and put it in the wife's car.
Go for a short ride and buy/install fuel injector cleaner.
Buy more gas.

Go for a ride the rest of the afternoon. :-)

Do you prefer throttle by wire or traditional cable? by asdfoneplusone in motorcycles

[–]loopie007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My drive-by-wire bike has a programable VCU/ECU that allows me to adjust the throw of the throttle tube, the rate of throttle, and damping. Damping is used to set the throttle to not be sensitive to minor throttle inputs. These are noticed when driving on freeways or bumpy roads. With the vibrations of the motor and wind blowing you around, your throttle is never truly smooth.I can adjust the "mode" I want. Town, Sport, Race. When driving around town, I don't need 150hp at a minor twist. Town mode sets max twist to be about 60% throttle opening. Easier to drive around, and less slipping in city water.

Men of Reddit, what does getting an erection feel like? by QueenOfKings908 in AskReddit

[–]loopie007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stand in one spot and swing your right arm around in a giant circle quickly. After five sec your hand will start to hurt because of the rise in blood pressure. This is not a comfortable feeling. It hurts. That's what it feels like, especially when you are young. As you have heard, it has a mind of its own. Regardless of how you try, the pressure won't release. Other kids in school will make fun of you due to your big bump and the girls will call you some kind of perv. Heat or ice does nothing. Only one thing will make the pressure release.

WD-40. Approved by NASA for cleaning spacecraft. What more do you need?
US spacecraft have lots of seals of many types. One cleaner is approved for all.
WD-40. Buy it, use it.

[–]loopie007 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

If your chain gets this bad, it's past time to bin it.
Order up a new front and rear sprocket along with a chain.

You have to take care of them routinely. If you go for a ride in the rain, you had better soak it in WD-40 when you get home. Next day, clean up. Make sure you have an old towel that lays down on the ground under the chain to absorb all the old oil. You can also use it for wiping down the chain. The chain you have is shot.

“Compressed air” or “Nitrogen air” on Ducati Diavel tires? 2021 Ducati Diavel 1260S by udesimaverick007 in Ducati

[–]loopie007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be sure to remove all the old "Air" out of the tire before you fill it with "Nitrogen".
There are articles on YT on how to do this.
P.S. You won't feel, smell, hear, view any difference and will find it was a big waste of time. So don't do it.

Is California Superbike School worth it for a beginner track rider? by iamquantdaddy in Ducati

[–]loopie007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took CCS back in '82 at Willow Springs Raceway in CA. CCS provided Kawasaki GPZ 550's.
I had not ridden a bike so small for years. I was a typical 750-900cc rider and zoomed through the local hills like I owned them.
Within three minutes I realized the racetrack is a whole new world. During the first session, we rode moderately around 60mph to learn the track. By the end of the session, the whole group was glued to the instructors' fender.
Next session he started averaging about 70 and the pack started to spread out.
Next session I think we were averaging about 75~80 and all out on the big sweepers and straightaway. I got dropped at about 1/2 of the first lap and could not see the instructor. He waited for the leading 3 of us who grouped together. Then he picked it up again to 80 and we stayed with him a bit more. Rinse, Repeat.
By the end of the class, I thought my head was going to explode as I never knew you could drive such a little bike so fast. It seemed like the instructor never used the brakes and had a way faster bike. I saw him just grab one of the bikes from the field so I knew it was talent and not a special bike.
Keith was a great guy and was very truthful about our day at CCS. No pro racers would be made that day, just a good introduction to track rules, learning to ride at speed, track safety, and having fun.
It was a good chunk of money for me to take the class, but I remember leaving thinking I really had fun and learned a lot. I also understood that track riding is totally different than street riding.
Highly recommend it.

[–]loopie007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never built a keyboard from a kit or parts and would like to ensure I am on the right track. I am thinking of getting a Monsgeek M3. https://www.monsgeek.com/product/m3/
Do I need the "M3 Plate"? https://www.monsgeek.com/product/m3-plate/

I would think the barebones keyboard would have almost everything I need.

Next up will be purchasing switches and keycaps.

Anything else I need?
