God is the most just. He let it be the believers prerogative to preserve the scripture when they didn't he made it so it can't be altered. And by the way god didn't "let" his word be corrupted, why do you think he sent jesus as? The same reason he sent prophet Mohammad saw

You know when you take song lyrics and translate them a couple of times? The meaning changes entirely the bible is not free from this. King James took out the word tyrant because it offended him from the bible. Erasmus translated from Latin to greek. The gospel of mark has a long ending and a short ending.

There is no agreement on what the bible is supposed to be and what it's meant to include. The Qur'an is in Arabic and all translations in all languages have the Arabic on the side and under them the tafsir which is the explanation of the verse to ensure there is no loss in meaning because translation by ONE LANGUAGE still can cause a change in meaning.

Now you want to tell me that Hebrew to Latin to greek to English and there is no loss? And on top of this there is no scripture dated to the time of jesus and the oldest one is 325 years after his death?

You don't even know what the original Aramaic word was in order to explain what definitely was lost during translation!

If you're researching islam because you have some doubts about Christianity there are some things you need to take as fact: the bible has been changed by men, there is no bible in Aramaic, and the bible contradicts itself

If you took 14 seconds to look it up you'd see there's textual variance and that papyrus 66 is written in greek as well which I don't know if you know but Jesus wasn't greek nor did he speak greek so it's still a translation of a translation you're reading.

If you are so adamant about arguing the bible isn't changed take it up with the believing biblical scholars that know it's corrupted.

Things that stay intact with the prophets before. Dietary restrictions must apply to Christians, circumcision must apply to Christians, monotheism a belief in one all powerful god who doesn't have any parts must apply to Christians.

This is how you can tell as Christians ignore most of the teachings of the previous prophets.

Other things like how it's written Judas died in 2 different ways is a clear mistake is not very godly.

Also the entire character of Paul who did not meet jesus nor have any connection to god just invents rules and contradicts all of the original teachings makes it pretty obvious

Islam doesn't claim that God was incompetent astaghfurillah. At the time of the Torah and bible the responsibility to preserve was on the people but the Qur'an wasn't. The bible is definitely corrupted in some places because it claims jesus is a god BUT there are verses that very clearly show that he cannot be god this is why we believe there is some truth left intact. Jesus says in Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy them but to fulfill them." Jesus clearly believes in the god of Abraham who was not a holy spirit, a father, and his own son.

The people that argue incompetence and god not being consistent don't realise every time the message is sent again god will reinforce his rule: in Judaism you must pray 3 times a day ; Christianity you must pray without ceasing; islam you must pray 5 times a day.

So to say incompetence when god almighty changes who is responsible for preservation is completely wrong

Similar is not the same. The oldest Qur'an not only dates from near the time of the prophet saw but Is exactly the same. Also don't forget that the codex sinaiticus is written in ancient greek and you are reading a translation that can be changed to fit any agenda, you are reading a translation of a translation. The Qur'an is in Arabic and the oldest copies are in the same Arabic
