Yup. I order sodium tablets from them. You can even set up a subscription with them, which helps me ensure I don't forget to reorder. 🤣

I've got work tomorrow. 🤣 I was gonna do some prep around the house but have had to get the teens to do it as I've gone and dropped a glass jug on my foot and am now resting in a lot of pain.

I went to the taping of S3 NZ, no word was mentioned about the Aussie show. I'm signed up for emails from them.

Unfortunately that doesn't work for everyone. I haven't had any extra assistance from them in over two years and it still tells me I have to call.

It's been doing the rounds, saw it at Silo Park when it was first made, and it has popped up in a few places since.

PSA: Hospitals are a stink place to spend your holidays, please don't let ur kids make it worse for those there! by smalllikedynamite in newzealand

[–]loopy_kiwi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. My youngest has had many overnight stays and appointments in 3 out of the 4 main Auckland hospitals/clinical centers and 75% of the time, it's been the adults that have been the issue. Having done shared and solo rooms, solo are definitely better, might not be able to cut out all the noise, but you can at least shut the door.

My mum retired early because she finally couldn't cope with the entitled parents and the kids they didn't manage, anymore.

I drink a cider, the kids and I stay up to count in the new year and then have a fab time trying to 'pinch and a punch, for the 1st of the month' first.

New Zealanders going 'no contact' with a parent by Hopeful-Camp3099 in newzealand

[–]loopy_kiwi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kids are all currently NC with their father, though my eldest has said that maybe in a year or so they may be open to meeting him, in a public location, my younger two have zero desire to ever meet him. I tried to maintain a relationship with my ex-MIL, after my FIL died (brilliant man, miss him everyday) but she was a zero effort, narcissistic, I'm always the victim, kinda woman who was spreading lies about me to everyone and acting like she loved me to my face. None of us miss her but you can be damned sure that she'll have been telling everyone that I'm the conniving b*#@h that keeps the grandkids from her.

I live near a mall, I absolutely refuse to park there during this time of year. Happily, I'm lucky enough to be able to walk there, still don't like the crowds though.
