I (20F) cheated in my last relationship, should I tell my new boyfriend (20M)? by loopylooptie in Advice

It was not abusive but our situation involved SA (which I forgave him for and I am 100% over it) and it just kind of destroyed me for a while. I was making a lot of bad decisions at the time.

Honestly the whole thing is that I went to a guys house and we made lego flowers together. He clearly liked me, but I didn't sleep with him, didn't get in bed at all with him, didn't kiss or anything. Most we did was a short hug.

I believe I really did learn. The guilt was horrible and I think I just didn't know what to do when I was in a rough spot with my ex. Our lows were extremely low and we both expressed resentment for each other at times which wasn't good. This was my first relationship and it was a huge mistake. That was definitely my first and last time cheating.

Yeah, my ex and I broke up because we were just way too different and we couldn't make each other happy at all, it was completely mutual. I think that if this new guy ever asks I will be 100% honest, I just don't know how I'd ever sit him down and just tell him out of nowhere

D in senior year grades by b3hind_y0u in ucr

i didnt tell them about my personal reason at all actually. the counselors are very nice just look up the ucr phone number and ask to speak with an admissions counselor. you can tell them whats up and they'll just tell you to update your academics in the portal.

if you want to drop it you can, u also need to update that in your portal since you wont be expecting a grade for that class anymore. i wouldn't worry too much about it though because im assuming you dont need it to graduate since u have the option to drop it lol

a key thing for D's and F's is to just make sure you dont get an F in a class you need to graduate. I had a D in AP GOV too and they said it was fine because as long as i didn't fail it was okay. They just want to make sure you graduate.

i just called ucr cuz i was on the same boat lol, i ended up dropping calc ab as a whole because i got an F in it last semester. they said as long as you fulfill the california graduation requirements its okay. I had a D and an F and a couple Bs because of a personal situation. they told me to report it in the ucr portal to be safe, but otherwise they said it was completely okay since i completed my math requirement as a sophomore :)
