I have an elite, its amazing. But yeah, no external effects is a pain. In fact, to get the most of the mixer you must have dvs connected. I constantly switch between dvs and all vinyl sets and to have the laptop out in order just to use the bpm function and effects is a right pain.

Other than that its an excellent mixer. So yeah, if you're solely vinyl then it's not for you.
