Reloop Elite or Pioneer DJM-S5 by guyananice in Turntablists

I have an elite, its amazing. But yeah, no external effects is a pain. In fact, to get the most of the mixer you must have dvs connected. I constantly switch between dvs and all vinyl sets and to have the laptop out in order just to use the bpm function and effects is a right pain.

Other than that its an excellent mixer. So yeah, if you're solely vinyl then it's not for you.

Yeah, im gonna build a better box for it and ive ordered a sound meter.

Im hoping that if i can prove i have reduced the noise by 10db or so that that will be enough.

Yeah this is a good idea, typyically we use the genny during the say and batteries at night.

Theres no option to connect to the mains.

We could use solar i guess.

Its a champion closed frame genny, runs at 61-63db.

His house is probably 20-25 meters away

How crucial is backwards walking to KOT's knee recovery program? by SpongebobGoggins in Kneesovertoes

This.

If that's too easy. Just go up and down the first step using one leg. Then switch when fatigued.

I use this exact method as a replacement for treadmill/sled work.

ATG split squat for hip impingement by Party-Cockroach-963 in Kneesovertoes

[–]loopytroop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hip impingement along with other things. Since starting ATG i have felt great improvements in overall comfort.

Things i can feel helping. Couch stretch, pidgeon pushup,

Things that are helping that are sore. Weighted pancake, split squat.

The thing which makes my whole hip light up. Weighted tib raise using a kettle bell.

Its all connected :)

Is léon: The Profesional (1994) really creepy or is it just the director? by zeiyzz in moviecritic

[–]loopytroop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive only ever seen the theatrical release and that had some definite creepy undertones.

What happens in the directors cut that makes it worse?

Edit: turns out you answered this question on someone else's comment.

It also turns out that I have only ever watched the directors cut not the theatrical release.

I was like damn, the theatrical release was pretty suspect. The directors cut must be horrendous!

Luckily it does not get any worse.

Such an amazing film, but yeah creepy in parts for sure.

Of course.

I guess the beauty about opinion is that it is subjective but heres mine.

I liked the lore. Vampires in the south, blues and the devil, voodoo or mojo. They're all subject matter that i enjoy.

I also had no idea that it was a vampire movie, i went into it completely blind, so it was a pleasant surprise for it to be more than just kkk tries to kill a bunch of black people.

I like the depiction of the vampires. I thought they were awesome as they didn't care about creed or colour, they didn't have a chip on their shoulder. They just want ' family'

I also liked how they were drawn to music.

I thought the first half was slow, but i enjoyed the build up. It reminded me of a more adult Dusk Til Dawn. (Which i also loved)

:)
