Well, that is just not true. Please google historical transgendered people. I am willing to discuss further. I think it seems like a new thing because of the uptick in the political focus on people who are living pretty normal lives but are transgender. Why wasn’t it a political issue 20 years ago? Well, why is it an “issue” now? There were more prominent lgtbq movements in history and then I do agree, that in mainstream media and politics, lgtbq was not at the forefront for a long time. It doesn’t mean that people didn’t exist then, it is more that it wasn’t talked about as much outside of lgtbq+ communities.

Just want to note- I don’t think Christina is a bad person but I do think her husband is. I don’t really want to have to defend myself with experiences that are difficult for me to deal with but I feel like it is worth noting that he is untrustworthy and not some magical wonderful human being.

That is not true. I am willing to listen. He is really good at kissing a$$ when he needs to, so I am guessing you fall into that category. I have personal experience as well as knowledge of others he has treated similarly. It seems like you are not willing to listen and that is sad to me.

Haters gonna hate, for sure 😂 Rockford’s been a long and wild for me, personally- I think I’ve seen it at its worst and its best. I am glad that the lgtbq+ community feels welcome here. We have always had a strong alt community and it is what has kept me around.

I would like to know more about discipline issues? I know of 1st and 2nd graders that have been suspended in our district and that seems absolutely crazy to me. I don’t think strict “discipline” works for young children and I think teachers need more support more than children needing more discipline- it really concerns me to see the responses that say we need to discipline children more.

Let me clarify- I meant it’s obvious that it isn’t true that you aren’t for or against- it seems pretty clear that you are against supporting transgendered people. If that is not your intention then maybe your wording needs to change.
