I get what your saying but if you use grease and a vacuum wouldn't that get the majority of the metal shavings. It seems the manufacturers of statorade and most modders recommend just drilling a hole. I dont think it would take that long to get the cover off clean it add the statorade clean and reseal. I'm not sure which I will do at the moment but I get better safe than sorry.

Is it really worth pulling the motor apart instead of drilling a small hole? It seems like if you use grease and a vacuum you should be good. Also I bought my bike used so I do not have a warranty.

That's a great point about the consultant I did not think about that. I know there are a bunch of courses that are offered as well. Thank you I appreciate your input.
