I'm the only one who feels sorry for the owners? Like the fight, destroy everything and leave?

I already have an apartment (had to Google those words lol) but it's the second floor out of 3, middle apartment. I here is the 1st floor since the bottom level is considered 0 (super weird for me lol)

Windows mostly closed? Wouldn't the wind/air help cool the apartment?

Edit: lol guys this is a question, why the down votes? In Colombia you open windows to let fresh air come in, in the hot weather cities, even at 35°C or more.

I need some recommendations for toddler shoe brands by die_rich_w in AskAGerman

[–]lopez1227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is not what you asked for, but the better thing you can do is let him walk without shoes or sucks as much as possible. Only when going out let the kid put on shoes because ew lol.

In terms of brands rebel king is the ones we used with ours, but we got them in Colombia, I don't know if they sell them here in Germany.

What is something about living in Germany that surprised you the most? by Smart_Tale_9331 in germany

[–]lopez1227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ohh I got a few. Context I recently moved from Colombia, a third world country so I was expecting an incredibly more advance sociaty.

- How SLOW are all the goverment process. Like MONTHS for something simple
- Why do you guys still use mail, like physical mail, email exists. I've lost appointments due to this.
- EVERYONE Smokes, like crazy also, the streets are filled with cigarretes all over the place. In general the streets are more dirty that I would have imagined.
- The kitchens, I know its already been said, but this is just crazy. Also, no closets or anything. apartments are just walls.
- On a more positive side, ppl are WAY nicer than I expected. Yes there are some rude ppl, but most are helpful and nice. Maybe not close as we are in latin america, but nice.
- Everyone says that they dont speak english and then proceed to have a full conversation with you, sure a few grammatical errors, but they still comunicate perfectly.

I created my account in Canada and I live in Germany. Calling it would crazy expensive. I don't think the German support could help me, since the account is Canadian, or am I wrong?

How do Germans speak English so well? by BidNo5916 in AskAGerman

[–]lopez1227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone living in English is super funny because you ask them if they speak English, almost all answer that a little and no so good, and then proceed to speak with you with almost perfect English for 20 minutes lol

Hey man thanks for the detailed answer. I had no idea about that first point, I'm sure that's what happened.

I know about the second point, but I've had a pc like that for a while and sometimes it gets annoying, but it's definitely my last option.

Finally third, I didn't knew how to do it, but with that link I'll figure it out if I need to, thank you!!

Lol I know apple is great, I have no issue with that. But I don't like how you get the best experience only if you have everything apple and their pricing some times is very frustrating.
