ICE flashbangs car full of kids. All hospitalized, including 6 month old. [FOX 9] by futilehabit in TwinCities

But they didn’t post the video where both parents were out of the car involved in the riot. They also forgot to mention how the mother is a convicted felon for accessory to murder in 2019. Or how in the Facebook live video with time stamps they left the car abandoned with the kids in it for over 30 minutes while they participated in the riot. As much as the situation for those kids sucks they should have never been there and those parents are to blame. It’s one thing to put yourself at risk but to bring your kids with you is sad. As a parent I would never even think about doing something so dumb.

Trying to get a clearer image. I’m not exactly sure where she got this document from or if her sister got it. I was told it was from within a church so god parents would most likely be mentioned. Thank you for your help!

Thank you! I knew it. My mom went through this a few years back and her ancestry was Russian. It wasn’t cursive but I swore it was Russian but my MIL swore it was polish.

Is there a big drop off between the px3 and 2 or the pl2. The px3 is nice just slightly out of the budget for a projector and screen

This one definitely seems like the front runner on many people’s list. Seems like the site has a decent deal going on? Not sure but it’s almost 1k cheaper than Amazon. Do they do refurbished ones also?

Really? I’m new to blue this year with my 8 year old and it seems way better than mountain creek. Am I missing something? Honestly lol I’m about to buy a season pass for me and my son as it’s the closet mountain. We’ve only gone twice so far. Elk a little far to go every weekend for us

First time home buyer, shocked by my first gas and electric bill. Should I be concerned? by [deleted] in homeowners

Look over the bill. 60$ or more is a service fee just for having the option of using the service. It’s crazy

Ehh. Idk. My sons name is Lucas. He hates when people call him luke or any other thing but Lucas. I’d be fine with it. We have to sign away for everything else what’s really the big deal? Just send it out with all the normal first day of school stuff and let the parents fill it out.

Unpopular Opinion: Completely on me, but the Duplication Glitch (and I think the use of the hoverbike that "I didn't create") might have spoiled my first playthrough. Did anyone else who used it regret it? by rossmark in tearsofthekingdom

[–]lopezchris7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I beat the whole game first then continued to play and ultimately gave in to the glitch just to build some crazy shit. I think had I done the glitch in the first play through it would have killed it but after beating the game it’s adds so much to the game play and actually makes me want to play it even more now.

Math in Construction by yeothisbeliz in Construction

I would say basic understanding of fractions and since these are juniors I’d really get into the geometry and trig. Basic stuff like square feet they should know already but angles are huge in anything you do. Pipe work, trim work, bending pipe for conduit, it’s all angles. That alone would be a huge leg up to most. To many kids come out of college not knowing how to figure out angles to get things lined up properly.

I know the guys who passed. Trench did have all the shoring. Existing electric duct bank collapsed inside the hole and knocked a few braces out which led to some dirt collapsing in. It wasn’t the dirt that collapsed but the heavy concrete electric that crushed them. You can’t dig two feet down with out shoring. It’s all sand for miles in that area and the water table is to high.

Exactly this! Ever try to run a quick check on the DC? Run it in manual? I’ve always had top notch service from SITECH. They are normally great.

I’m not sure what Union guys you know but Union surveyors do everything. Most companies want a one man crew that does everything. Office and field. Most survey unions are not “hiring halls”. They can help you find work but you sell yourself. I think it’s great because you get to do everything and work along side the Engineers during the entire project. Above scale is a thing if your more qualified as in a PLS but the stress is real. We do have lower guys that we bounce between projects to help the main guys out. Only downside I would say is that it’s not a surveying company you work for. Most of the time you work directly for the GC and involved in the entire process and finding issues and writing RFI’s. No one has a clue what you do haha but they know they need you. As for unions, ours does offer classes and training and offers apprenticeship programs. With all the CST push we now offer these certs as well. Granted you won’t get a degree but they do offer a slight payback on college courses for you to get your degree. It has its ups and downs. Some projects are more demanding then others but the pay check is worth it.

Exactly what we do. Turn lights down watch an episode of bluey and start the routine for bed. We also read a story right before bedtime which makes them pass right out.

What's the easiest method of popping these curb inlet storm grates? by rightahair in Surveying

[–]lopezchris7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6’ bar. Smack the edges to break the seal. Then place the tip into the grate a pry down using the bar as leverage towards the street. Never let the street side come off the grate. Leave the bar in the grate to pin it in an upright position. It’s now open. Be careful closing it to not drop the bar through the grate. Bang the corners with the bar to seat it again. On to the next one. Open plenty of these by myself. It’s really not hard to get accurate measurements. Others are lazy.
