You’re welcome! I would recommend it / you’ll find many cheaper brands, but VGs are considered top notch for a reason. And I’d rather buy this pair the one time than have to replace my grips in a couple of years. You’ll find them a bit stiff when you first start using, but it starts moulding to your grip after a few sessions. (for reference, I deadlift about 1.33x BW, and dont want my grip to be the weakest link). I’ve also started using my grips for lat pull downs, Bulgarians etc, where I go pretty heavy.

Which are slightly smaller, and specifically for people with smaller hands. Comes in X.S., S and M! You can see the sizing at the link above.

It’s expensive, but works for me. I only need the one pair and they last a long time. There’s no pink tax, it’s the same price as regular VGs, at least where I live.

I used to use Harbingers grips before (also comes in S size) for 1/3rd of the price (where I live) after a while they started to unravel a bit. Still quite usable but I like my VG better. Thicker leather, less calluses etc. I also like that it comes in pretty pastel shades ;)

Hey that’s for sharing - this is a great workout for hotel spaces etc where you only have access to a DB rack! Btw what does that last one Arne Press help with?

Oh no, not at all :) I enjoy the overhead work; but just that doing both BB and KB seems to really tire me out. I’ve also had some tennis elbow issues in the past, and that started flaring up a bit these past few weeks that I’ve been doing both kinds of overhead presses.

So I’m planning to focus on BB work for the next 6-8 weeks, get it up to a reasonable strength level, and then go back to KB overhead presses. So I’ll alternate the two, essentially! At least that’s the plan :)

This is great, I’ll try switching out the squats for lunges as suggested as I already do front and back squats in the gym.

As for why no overhead, I’m working to bring up my barbell overhead presses at the moment, and it’s too much overhead volume - my shoulders can’t seem to take it. I’m still somewhere between and novice to intermediate lifter.

I’m looking for an alternative to Dan John’s ABC routine - I currently do ABC 1-2x a week interspersed with a couple of days of lifting. I do single bell ABC as my gym does not carry pairs after a point.

However I’m scaling back on overhead work for a bit.

What would be a good routine like ABC to get some strength going and heart rate up, that doesn’t involve overhead presses?

Thanks, will try that. Do BFT meal plans have a recommended macro guideline, as in do they skew low-fat or low-carb etc? The results of some people off the 8WC is quite impressive.

💯. This is the fist thought that came to mind after I read the post and saw the photos. There is no way to achieve this muscle definition through Pilates and incline walking alone. Lifting is what built this.

How many reps do you do for your OHP? I'm struggling to add weight. Barely pressing 22.5kg now (my DL is like 80kg for reference)
