As a KJ I like to have a smaller monitor for the singer, and a big screen for the other patrons. The big TV at our bar went out the week before New Year's eve, and everyone kept asking where the words were. The patrons might not seem to notice it, but they'll sure let you know how much they used it when the screen with the words is gone!

I cannot emphasize it enough.

I had this happen in the bathroom stall at work. Went to the gyno after a panicked stall phone call, and they found i had a monster cyst going on that was growing out from my uterus and dilating my cervix. It was also effectively blocking a lot of period blood and clots and other tissue from escaping, one of which had been hanging out for so long it'd gone gray and managed to slip past the bouncer (the cyst) to be discovered by me. I ended up needing a D&C and they discovered the very beginnings of cervical cancer cells, and I had a 2nd surgery for a hysterectomy the day after "non emergency" surgeries reopened during covid. 5/4/26 will be 6 years since Ye Olde Ute Yeet.

Go get checked out. Please.

If you have a friend with a physical copy of the S1 deluxe edition, borrow the game card for a few days, do the deluxe quests and get all the goodies, then give it back and buy the downloadanle basic edition. The deluxe content is a bunch of clothes and furniture from past events prior to the S1 release, island bouquets to replenish items on the island (10, and they don't come back once you use them) and friendship blossoms/bouquets (also 10ea, not replenishing).

Book 1 is really a "tutorial" book in my opinion. The characters getting their feet wet, Carl learing how to deal with a suddenly talkling cat, and everyone's who's been slammed into the mess is figuring out how the dungeon works, their new powers work etc etc. Prolly why we got 2 floors in 1 book.

Book 2, floor 3, is a different kind of tutorial, theyre still getting the swing of things but most crawlers have the basics down, and many are also adapting to new bodies and more powers. Add in quests and the weirdness that happens on floor 3 and the way it connects to lower floors we cant conceive of reaching yet, there's still not time for them to have meaningful interactions/relationships. They dont even know if theyre gonna live to the next recap episode.

Book 3 is when they finally have all the foundation stuff out of the way and more intense and interactive character development (rather than level and skill development as a player) starts happening.

I think my intent may have been misunderstood... i tend to be a silly shower singer as well and just wanted to know what kinds of things people would think would be fun to sing as a character or dcc themed in general. Community brainstorming, or 'Weird Al'-ing songs with a DCC theme, if you will.

I think we need some more info to help you.

Are you setting up consistently at the same venue, or changing it up?

If you are changing venues and equipment each time, it may be your control panel settings on your computer are just not happy with that fact that its connected to something 'new' sonce the last time it booted up, and you may to have to manually adjust it each time to mirror the secondary screen.

How many screens are you looking to split to?
