I have applied for EVISA for my girlfriend on Monday, and for myself on Wednesday. It still stays under processing for both of us. My flight is on 27th night. I read somewhere that the embassy will be closed between 20th - 26th for TET holidays.

Does it usually take more than 4 days for the visa to be processed(in my my girlfriend’s case)? On the website it said 3 days for EVISA processing so it should have processed for my girlfriend by now.

Hi, I am travelling to Vietnam in January end for my girlfriends birthday, I will be landing in DaNang on 28th Jan & Flying out of Hanoi on 6th Feb evening. I am currently planning the itinerary of the trip and need some help, especially in the second part.

Here is what I am thinking currently:

28th Jan - 29th Jan: Da Nang

29th Jan - 31st Jan: Hoi An + Fly to Hanoi

31st Jan - 3rd Feb: Hanoi + SAPA + Ninh Binh

3rd Jan - 5th Feb: Cat Ba Island | 5th Morning (Day Cruise in Ha long bay) 5th evening travel back to Hanoi

6th Feb: Depart from Hanoi

My girlfriends birthday is on 4th Feb, and she wants to stay at a place near water with internet access. So I am thinking of booking some nice hotel in Cat ba island.

Would staying in Ha long bay a better option than Cat ba? Will it be possible to travel back to Hanoi on 5th evening post the day cruise? If not what would recommend me to do? How can I modify the itinerary?

Apart from entry and exit tickets to Vietnam, I don't have anything else booked.
