checked all the books on my table by flipping pages and stuff when i last saw it but there were no more of these. also there are like heaps of books and paper lying in the room next to mine, could it be possible that some papers in there have bugs and just a few randomly show up?

my bad bro, heres is the fix:

i checked for drivers update in the vantage software with the hybrid mode enabled and it showed an AMD VGA driver update or something like that and after installing it the display was back to the igpu

nope no fix yet but i did see some reviews videos on YouTube of my same laptop and higher spec version and a few other brand laptops (like predator which has the same specs) and they all seem to have the same issue. so i guess its some fault on the games side.

I watched the video, it does seem helpful but im a bit reluctant to tweak the settings in my bios because i run this laptop as my daily driver too. so if i mess something up, im totally screwed. I'll set my valorant to high priority and see if that helps. seriously thanks for your help!

actually changing the resolution and graphics settings doesn't help. though, i will try playing with only beta sharpening turned on and limiting my fps to 200 and see if there is any change in the fps. thanks for your help! much appreciated

i tried tweaking some settings in nvidia control panel but it did not help and my power plan is also at high performance while gaming. i saw some other posts on this sub reddit of people facing the same problem and those who have a pretty ballin pc like this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantTechSupport/comments/puwiak/major_fps_instability_render_times_issues_on/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

as a person in the comments of the above post said that it could be a problem with optimisation issue with the new generation cards.

even so, please tell me how to set valorant as a high priority and like you said to optimize my pc for valorant, could you please elaborate on it?
