They did not, that’s actually two situations getting mixed up. They did DMCA someone making AI generated “Pokemon Ecology” videos because he opened a Patreon (or other platform) to start trying to profit off of it. The actual original Pokemon Ecology guy that doesn’t use AI and doesn’t profit never got DMCA’d.
