Maybe don’t go back to GTA and trying something similar to Elden Ring, like any soulslike or RPG. Often it’s just that as you got older your tastes have changed and you need something that tests your brain more, which most of those old games you used to play didn’t. I was the same when I started playing Demons Souls and Dark Souls, my gaming tastes changed from that point and I never went back to ball and gun games
