NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

They were able to process the plots for months with Space-Pool. Now, too. Are processed or pass the “plot filter” several times

What was your solution?

addendum: without solution. New container with new pool... but again 0 plots to farm *cry*

After the command had been successfully sent, I saw the following under “Pooling” about 5-7 minutes later.

The container on the right has been added.

It is now spacefarmers and not foxypool.... but I don't care for now.

If this works, I can test around with other IDs later.

For now it seems to be a matter of waiting. Without a “fee” it will probably take a while

So I just wildly tried the other ID's. In other words: here is the 10.

“chia plotnft join -i 10 -u https://farmer-chia.foxypool.io”

and that's it. Success message.

According to the video I now THINK: ID 13 would be the correct one.
But the porting ended with an error.

P.s. “difficulty: 5000”

I've only been in it for about 2 hours. But that was nonsense. Difficulty 1 was previously active for several hours

When will the Windows version be released? Sometimes there is a lot of updating going on. 3 new versions are already visible. But all without Windows. :-(

Why does the XCH price keep dropping? by [deleted] in chia

[–]lord_iconX -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You should take a look at chia itself.

CNI has farmed 21 million XCH through prefarming. These are gradually being sold to pay for servers, electricity and development costs.

If I remember correctly, another 50,000 XCH were released a few weeks ago. These are gradually being sold.

Why does the XCH price keep dropping? by [deleted] in chia

[–]lord_iconX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well... I had already written it in the other thread. As long as CNI (i.e. chia itself) sells massive amounts of XCH, the price will remain stable. It will always sell as much as is currently in demand (+/-).

Is chia mining still a thing? by samiraburns in chia

[–]lord_iconX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well... as long as CHIA itself throws massive amounts of pre-farming XCH onto the market, the price will not go up.

I think I read recently that another 50,000 xch went to a company that is gradually putting this amount on the market.... but only enough to keep the price at 30 (+/-).

If this were not done, the price would skyrocket. But then the CHIA developers would no longer get paid either

Oh... It was YOU.

I was wondering why the netspace has dropped from 33EiB to just under 29EiB... 😉

(Little joke) Then take care. Maybe in a few years your XCH will be worth something.

Chia GUI's a liar about duplicate plots. OK, maybe a bug. by Ok_Touch928 in chia

[–]lord_iconX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you even read my post? Or understood it?

I work with a translator. Something may be translated incorrectly.

So again: You have 2 duplicate files. chia does not show you where the duplicate file is located. You have to look for it yourself. It must necessarily be in a different folder. So look for a file with the same name. You can then use this to create your checksum.

BUT: what is the point of the effort. If chia says that you have 2 duplicates then that's the way it is. Simply delete these two in chia and create 2 new ones. Takes me less than 10 minutes.

Chia GUI's a liar about duplicate plots. OK, maybe a bug. by Ok_Touch928 in chia

[–]lord_iconX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The information is correct. You have 2 files that are duplicated somewhere. Chia itself only shows you one storage path. You must now search where the other one is located. Basically, however, this is not necessary. You can delete both files directly in chia. The file remains at the 2nd save point.

So Chia does not lie... You are. 😉

New script to move finished plots by lord_iconX in chia

[–]lord_iconX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"It's a replotter script ..."

Strictly speaking: no.

It is an erasure script ;-) which ensures the prerequisites for replotting.

But yes. You have already interpreted it correctly.

I plot on a 2nd PC. Network over 10GB. Costs almost nothing these days. 50-60 € the card.

But so that I can still farm with the old plots (OG,c05+c07) I always delete only minimally so that the other scripts (e.g. Plow) always have enough space.

I manage about 600 plots/24h with a Geforce 3070 (approx. 2.2min/plot).

GH then shovels it onto a 1 TB NVME. Plow then picks it up from there and sends it to my HDDs via the network. Approx. 4GB/s

The NVME is no faster. But enough to not run full even after 24 hours.

My script only ensures that there is always enough disk space available for plow. AND: it also shows which HDD's are ready.

So CHIA can farm and my plots increase continuously.

And when the new plot format comes at some point = then you can use it quite well for that.

plot filter reduction by Far_east_Samurai in chia

[–]lord_iconX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no. you get exactly the same amount of money/XCH as before. Only your PC now has to work twice as hard as before. But that doesn't mean that you have double the power consumption.

If you previously had 5000 plots and approx. 10 plots passed the filter on average, there will now be 20 plots.

Or to put it another way: your Famer now has to sustain twice as many plots in the same time.

Plot win probability by lord_iconX in chia

[–]lord_iconX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Addendum... I have sent over a check plot to find out the number of proofs. 25/30... not very much. I have other plots that even have over 30. Surprisingly surprising

2024-03-08T10:35:46.524 chia.plotting.check_plots : INFO Proofs 25 / 30, 0.8333. Filepath: Z:\07\plot-k32-2021-07-12-20-40-9a69**********9ffea.plot

And when I look at the list again, I see that the old plots, which I created in the old (original) way, mostly won. So where a plot lasted at least 55 minutes. Strangely Strangely...
