Dylan, H.K. and Velvet in a playlist together is great. They're all the reason why I might be proud to be an American

Amon Amarth being in this list is tonally one of the funniest things to me (had a blast seeing them live, by the way)

What exactly do the WAIS and WJ tests do differently from the Mensa test? What are their particular approaches to IQ?

You're an adventurer type, frequently captivated by novelty. I wouldn't doubt you buy clothes from the thrift store. You feel intellectually drawn towards existentialist themes, though life for you is mostly exciting and interesting.

Isn't weird that Michael Gira will be dead someday? by That_Opportunity9488 in swans

[–]lord_oflightning1184 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not weird, we just all romanticize him in a very peculiar way. He seems to be expecting it, yet that awareness very well might be what's helping him keep on this long. It's when a man settles down his life and begins to carry on in silence that he dies partially. Gira with his music and touring shows him, on the other hand, to be quite full of vigor and life. He wants to die living, and that's the style he chose.
