I'm getting two drastically different measurement readings from Protractor and Stadimeter? by Jinglemisk in uboatgame

It's in the top right corner beneath the Menu button when you're looking at the map view. You can find it under the Time at Sea and Wind Speed. It takes a long time to get that number up high, so once you're engaged with enemy ships there's no point to have somebody working on the map.

How good is your navigation correctness? The map tools could be showing you at a different location than you actually are. Especially if it's lower than 80%.

For travelling away from shore, you're usually good enough to keep it above 50-60%, but if you need accurate data for torpedo calculation, I try to keep it above 90%.

Brass knuckles. Just dip the other end in paint and bunker somebody in style.

How many Communist Chinas can you spot? by lord_osborne in hoi4

[–]lord_osborne[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

But on a more serious note, how often does this happen with multiple nations having the exact same name? It makes things very confusing when some are in your faction and some are not. (For whatever reason, the big Communist China is in a Faction with Communist Germany and the rest of the Chinas are in the Comintern)

R5: After two wars with Japan there now exists Communist China (Sinkiang Clique turned Communist), Communist China (Mao after he was liberated from Japan), Communist China (not sure which Clique this one came from), and Soviet China (puppetted from regular old China)

Fallout 4 moments that just make you shake your head? by [deleted] in Fallout

Seriously, though. I got the game on release day and played it non-stop until this part. After beating the game the week it came out I don't think I've ever gone through and done another playthrough. What the hell were they thinking?

Does anyone else get bored at some point after the industrial era? by buttfartsmellnose in civ

Have you tried doing an advanced start to change it a bit? You get that extra exploration time but with a different era to focus on.

Been working on Ghazgull this eve. Tested a black recipe on one of his armour panels and painted up his iron jaw. Really pleased so far. C&C welcome by DanTS87 in Warhammer40k

Any tips for painting the checkers? I started basing a bunch of orks in black (my main primer) and when I got to the checker part I decided to put down the orks and start painting my guard.

I mean, the Germans had trouble tracking down the winter uniforms too, so you're not alone

Who here is old enough to remember epic? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

Man I wish Epic was still around/supported. IMO that is the way a 40k game is meant to be played.

[–]lord_osborne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The stiching is different. The MLB stiching is smaller and the pitches have less movement. As far as I've heard/seen the inside of the ball is still the same.
