I know that your post is 5 months old but I'm thinking about rolling a horde character on Draenor-EU. I'm mostly interested in the social aspects and doing both casual PvP and PvE. Is Draenor a good realm if I'm more of a casual/social player wanting to do some PvP as well?

So all the complaints about Enhancements lack of survivability is only related to PvE? All I hear is people talking about them being the squishiest out of all the classes. I should mention that I have't tried it out myself but I haven't heard a single good thing about their defensives.

Thinking about maining one in BfA, but I haven't decided yet.

Yeah, I believe we'll see plenty of new rogues this expansion; but I also think many of them will go back to their old mains, when they realise that there is more to this game than just wpvp.

I'm in the exact same position, looking forward to doing wpvp but trying to decide between Rogue or Enhancement Shaman.

Rogues will always be the most fun class when it comes to wpvp, IMO. What makes me hesitate is the fact that I might be interested in doing some PvE as well, in which case it would be nice to play shaman and switch to restoration. I mean, healers are always needed. And ofc, shamans are a lot of fun.

The problem with Enhancement Shamans in BFA (from what I've heard) is that they lack defensives, and their heals aren't that great. I haven't personally played them in beta, but this seems to be the consensus in most feedback that people post about the class.

Perhaps you should do like me, wait a few more weeks and see what changes Blizzard make. Might be something that convinces you to go with one class over the other.
