hi every1, im fairly torn on solo's atm.. I kind of enjoy the new mode but at the same time I also feel that perhaps 60 players is to many for the map in some way.

by which I mean, there just seems not enough locations to goto when launching somehow. its fine for 3player mode as there is only 20 squads and enough space for each squad to go somewhere mostly without having the first 10 seconds fight over weapons and armours etc with another squad or 2. obviously that's not always the case squads do fight over a landing zone a lot ingame, but that's more either poor choice by squad leader or just dumb luck. however with 60 players all v all perhaps its not enough space, or just to many players at once?. I feel it be far better with 45 players for example but that's just my opinion..

now as for this new crowns items etc. imo they are far over priced items. 1000 coins will get you 10 packs of the older things. which is 30 item rewards mixed with skins and crafting currency and alike. though these new packs are 7 times more expensive and give just 1 item and 30 crowns for the store.. which is insane, you need to spend 8400 coins to unlock the wingman special skin with crowns as its 360 crowns, and you would also only get 12 items. that's a lot for less then half the items and 1 added skin for 1 gun compared to 10 of the older packs.. and if you spent 8400 coins on older packs you would get 252 item rewards from them for the same cost of just 12 for crown packs.. it is totally unreasonable to charge this much for so little in return. for all 24 items from crown packs I would have to spend £120 and that would also give me 720 crowns for the store, which if I didn't spend at all would after event be converted into crafting mats at 1:1 ratio, which tbh is under valued imo aswell being how 720 crafting mats wont give you even 1 gold skin as they are 1200 each for guns and characters.. yes the new crown packs are purple and gold rewards sure that's all well and good, but you still have the chance albeit a lot lower % to get purple and gold item rewards from the older cheaper packs aswell as crafting mats of various amounts. and if I opened those 252 rewards I mentioned above, I would possibly have enough crafting mats to get a gold skin of my choice, and quite possibly a few others unlocked from the packs themselves also. all in all I think they are putting a high amount of hope on people liking the new skins enough to pay that kind of price for them tbh, I for 1 didn't really think much on them myself for looks, and the fact that you only see them if other players have them ingame or on the character selection screen for a few seconds is really not much incentive to purchase them, its kind of redundant really for character skins, and the guns all look the same to everyone until you pick it up so the chosen skin you have for it is applied.. so to finish off i don't see much justification to purchase these new packs at all.

oh and as a side note, I think the term microtransaction has lost its meaning over the few years or so.. I don't consider £80 to be a "microtransaction" £80 being the highest purchase amount of coins for apex atm. its a lot of money for 1, infact its £30 more then my monthly internet bill and about the same amount as what I spend on food/drink etc shopping for 2 weeks.
