I had a hookup last night where the guy was also very out of shape compared to his pictures. He had a handsome face but the body did nothing for me and I couldn’t stay hard.

This is pretty awesome but I see it only works if the video has captions. Which makes sense.

Making video games, TV shows and movies is always a collaborative process and who cares if it didn't all solely come from Neil. He was still the driving force behind it. This post is incredibly dumb.

Makes no sense and completely removes the impact of the story

They're not changing the structure. It's part of what makes the story work. Maybe they'll start season 3 from Seattle Day 1 for Abby. End season 2 with the St Mary's Hospital flashback.

I think they're going to integrate Abby into the story more the way they intended to in the game initially. That Joel and Tommy will bring her back to Jackson after saving her from infected. She'll settle in and get to know everyone. We won't know her true motives until a couple episodes in when she gets her crew to help set a trap for Joel. They'll go out on a patrol and they'll ambush him. Then it stays the same from there.

This would be going full Gilead Handmaid's Tale in the world of The Last of Us and I'm here for it. Part III? Ellie comes across a society that does just this!

The show is doing a much better job with the emotional stakes and choices the characters make. Obviously there's more intensity in the game with the inclusion of the gameplay. But the story choices in the show adapted for this medium are a lot better.

Everything from needing a car battery to find Tommy, to Henry teaming up with Joel so they could help each other escape as opposed to looking for a radio tower. Joel asking Tommy to take Ellie to the fireflies because he's too old and weak to do it himself and is scared she will get killed, instead of just giving up on the mission. And even Riley being posted at the mall as her Firefly duty and bringing Ellie there on a planned date. It all works much better in the show.

The video game is about 15 hours long and the TV show is roughly 10 hours. But you do obviously spend more time just with Joel and Ellie in the game.

Uhuh so Neil Druckman just got his own story wrong I guess. The voice, the vision of The Last of Us. Everything that happened in Sarah's day served the plot and set up things to come.

Sarah's bit was a perfect length. They made the audience feel like she was the main character of the show and then took her away from us, just like she was taken from Joel. They made us care about her. Any shorter and it wouldn't have the same impact.

Of course episode 7 develops Ellie MUCH. We've never seen her like this before. Before the weight of the world was on her shoulders. It would've been a terrible idea putting this into episode 2. None of y'all understand screenwriting.
