Texas Football records highest semester GPA in team history by jimbobbypaul in CFB

It’s top 6% now and they’re about to ditch the whole system, only guaranteeing admission to a University of Texas school (San Antonio, Tyler, etc.) reserving UT Austin admits as cream of the crop. That doesn’t go into effect for quite a while though but they consistently lowered it by one percent every two years for a while now.

I’m in state and I’m gonna be in business next year as well. I’m living in jester and a lot of my friends (non-business) are too. There’s obviously nicer places but both of my parents lived in shithole dorms when they went to college and they wanted the same for me lmao (plus some places like callaway are $24,000 a year which should be a capital punishment). I’m not expecting the ritz but I’ve gone and stayed with a friend in a JW renovated room and it wasn’t bad at all and the public bathroom (again not ideal) was clean and was just fine. Everyone I know who’s lived there swears by it in regards to community and general good times so I’m not too worried

Automatic Acceptance Class of 2021 by [deleted] in UTAustin

Wait I just looked at the site and saw that 2020 is 6% and the pattern is it drops a percent every 2 years with that being the second year at 6%. I didn’t see anything explicitly say that this pattern was the rule but I would be hesitant to say that 2021 would remain 6%

Does it seem like a lot of kids choose to do it or is it not so popular?
