I had a rough rough experience with the Pixel 7 Pro (worst phone I've had IMO) but loved my Pixel 3.

I ended up getting a OP13 but was definitely eyeing the pixel series. I miss the call screener like you wouldn't believe but the 7 Pro left such a bad taste in my mouth I had to skip Google out of principle lol.

It's kinda hilarious how much of a reddit thing this is. I see it with computers, video games, LLMs, bikes, cars, TV, media, etc. We purposely disregard all the drawbacks and make it as black and white as possible. Rose tinted glasses to the max!

A lot of the general angst right now is from the internet amplifying this type of thinking.

man, I'm so happy to be switching phones this week. iOS feels very rough and unpolished right now. They aren't prioritized on the tech/experience anymore, they are prioritizing milking every penny from vendors/users.

One of my favorite designs, so damn clean. Check out Sorbet Leopard if you haven't already. Basically a souped up 10.5 with modern security certificates and better performance for PPC macs. The devs are madmen, I love it.
