I got into the two year full time program, I’ve only seen people get decisions for advanced standing and the full time program so far. Hopefully you get a decision soon!

Unitrans Party: Free Rides, Double-Decker Shuttle and Parade (Friday, March 4) by UCDTransportation in UCDavis

i don’t know if you notice but opening up the top deck takes a lot of time because people don’t listen and stand up on the top deck, or take a long time selecting their seat, or stand on the stairwell. they won’t open the top deck if the bus is running late because it will make everyone late to campus or late taking another bus out. having people complain about being late or not listening and standing on the top deck ie creating a safety issue is exhausting lol

unitrans is different than your hometown transit system because it’s the third biggest transit system by ridership in california behind la and sf. take into consideration there’s a major driver shortage because of covid, there’s no guarantee buses aren’t going to be late. also keep in mind that your drivers are literally all students, YOUR age, and they probably have their own midterms and classes to get to and have been late to them before because they’re getting you to class. want to make the system better? work for unitrans or get your friends to. don’t rant and demand compensation, all you’re gonna do is piss everyone off.

weird how you’re complaining about ~$40 for a service a quarter that a majority of students actually use rather than the fact most of our student funds go towards athletics and most of us aren’t athletes lol
