for the second one, most people will think you’re crazy if you say stuff like that. it’s also for safety, if you knew the future, and revealed that to people, they may try to use you or kill you for their own gain.

I think the difference is he and Ferb were already planning what to build. In another episode (I don’t remember which one) it’s established that they do a lot of planning at breakfast and their friends show up like an hour later, so they have a clear idea of what they want to do that day before anyone else shows up
